In addition to the new details that have come out about Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield in recent days, there has also been some news about Pokémon GO. Here's the rundown.
ARMORED MEWTWO
Groudon has left Legendary Raid Battles and been replaced with Armored Mewtwo. Armored Mewtwo has come to Pokémon GO as a tie-in for the Japanese release of the "Mewtwo Strikes Back: EVOLUTION" movie, which is a remake of the very first Pokémon movie. This is the first time Armored Mewtwo has come to a Pokémon game.
Armored Mewtwo is not a costume variant like hatted Pikachu, but rather an alternate form. It has a different movepool, and more defensive stats. These differences make Armored Mewtwo behave more like a Lugia than a regular Mewtwo. Armored Mewtwo will remain in Legendary Raids until the end of the month.
New Mewtwo-inspired clothing is also available for purchase in the Style Shop.

NEW MOVES
Niantic is continuing to make changes to Trainer Battles and shakeup the metagame. Trainer Battles will soon be updatedwith new swiping and tapping mechanics for Charged Attacks. Niantic initially added a new feature that pauses a Trainer Battle when switching out Pokémon, but reversed the change after it caused bugs and negative feedback.
Additionally, many Pokémon have had attacks added to their movepools (full list below). This includes the addition of two new moves: Skull Bash and Charm. Charm is the first Fairy-type Fast Attack, and Skull Bash is a Normal-type Charged Attack that will always raise Defense in Trainer Battles.
