GEN 5 PREVIEW

TYMPOLE, PALPITOAD, SEISMITOAD

PLACE IN THE META: Seismitoad has underwhelming Attack and Defense. This means it most likely won't be making any waves in Raids. That being said, it could have utility in Great League if it gets decent moves.

LIKELY MOVEPOOL: Out of the Fast Moves we currently have in Pokémon GO, the following are the ones that seem most likely to be given to Seismitoad:
  • Bubble
  • Mud Shot
  • Poison Jab

Out of the Charged Moves we currently have in Pokémon GO, the following are the ones that seem most likely to be given to Seismitoad:
  • Earth Power
  • Hydro Pump
  • Muddy Water
  • Rock Slide

Should Niantic add any new moves, the following are good candidates for Seismitoad's movepool:
  • Drain Punch
  • Hyper Voice

LOOKING AHEAD: Looking beyond Generation 5, Seismitoad gains no evolution, exclusive Z-Move, or Mega Evolution that is known of at this time.
Thanks for reading, Trainers! Throh is up next.
