PLACE IN THE META: Galvantula is certainly better than Ariados, but it won't be very good in GO. It is too weak defensively, and its Attack stat is just too low to make a real impact. This electrified tarantula just cannot compete with the likes of Raikou, Electivire, Scizor, or newcomers like Volcarona or Thundurus.
