DEFENSE: 210 |
STAMINA: 200 |
MAX CP: 3090 |
PLACE IN THE META: Shaymin Land Forme has the typical set of well-balanced, quite-good Mythical Pokémon stats. Assuming it can get access to a full Grass moveset, it should become one of the best Grass-type attackers in the game and fulfill the lost Grass-type potential of Celebi.
Shaymin Land Forme is a pure Grass-type. This makes it weak to Ground-type attacks, as well as resistant to Poison-, Grass-, Dark-, and Ghost-type attacks.
LIKELY MOVEPOOL: Out of the Fast Moves we currently have in Pokémon GO, the following are the ones that seem most likely to be given to this form of Shaymin:
Out of the Charged Moves we currently have in Pokémon GO, the following are the ones that seem most likely to be given to this form of Shaymin:
Should Niantic add any new moves, the following are good candidates for Land Shaymin's movepool:
LOOKING AHEAD: Looking beyond Generation 4, Shaymin gains no evolution, exclusive Z-Move, or Mega Evolution.

ATTACK: 261 |
DEFENSE: 166 |
STAMINA: 200 |
MAX CP: 3400 |
PLACE IN THE META: Shaymin Sky Forme is much different from the Land Forme. It sacrifices some Defense and gains a double-weakness to Ice in exchange for a rather significant uptake in Attack. Which form you employ will likely depend on which Pokémon / Raid Boss you're facing and on what moves each of the forms end up with.
Shaymin Sky Forme is a Grass- and Flying-type. This makes it weak to Fire-, Flying-, Rock-, and Poison-type attacks; doubly weak to Ice-type attacks; "immune" to Ground-type attacks; highly-resistant to Grass-type attacks; as well as resistant to Water- and Fighting-type attacks.
