A new update and a beta-version of a new feature have gone live in Pokémon GO. Let's dive into what the dataminers have discovered under the surface of version 0.119.1 of the game.
KECLEON
Kecleon's sound file has been changed. It is important to keep in mind that this does not necessarily mean this unreleased chameleon will show its face any time soon.
NEW MOVES
In a previous update we saw the addition of some assets for the move Meteor Mash. A new comet-like asset, which is presumably for this move, has been added. Additionally, there have been similar assets that have appeared for another new move, Crabhammer. Crabhammer is a strong Water-type attack that can be learned by Kingler and Crawdaunt in the main-series.
SHINY ICON
A new icon appears on the text bubble above a Pokémon in an encounter that indicates if it is Shiny or not, similarly to the weather-boosted icon. This should help Trainers notice Shiny Pokémon that are similar to the regular coloration (such as Plusle) if they are distracted and miss the sparkle animation.
EX PASS SHARING
The ability to share an EX Raid Pass was a feature hinted at in previous APKs. The release notes and some of Chrales' digital magic now let us know this feature is now live. You'll be able to share the pass with one of your friends so you can both attend an EX Raid.
But, more importantly, this new feature indicates that Mewtwo's upcoming month in regular Raids as part of the Ultra Bonus will not be the end of EX Raids. While we're on the topic, it is worth noting that Niantic Support emails tell us that Mewtwo will be returning to EX Raids after the Ultra Bonus Event ends on October 23. Niantic Support emails have been inaccurate many times in the past, so we'll update you if their statement changes.

POKESTOP SUBMISSIONS
The code has been finished for the PokéStop submission feature, and a beta version of it is now live. Currently, it is only available to Trainers that are not children, Level 40, in Brazil or South Korea, and have the latest update installed. Niantic has already updated their support page with what makes a nomination eligible and ineligible.
BEFORE YOU GO...
Before you go, let us tell you that there are new gift boxes on sale in the Shop, presumably for the Ultra Bonus that starts tomorrow. Also, tomorrow is the rescheduled Nintendo Direct at 3:00 PM PDT / 6:00 PM EDT, which could give us some new details on Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let's Go, Eevee!. Thanks for reading, Trainers!
