Niantic's foreign language announcements seem to be constantly leaking things these days! Earlier today, a Trainer posted on Reddit a screenshot of the latest Italian Pokémon GO newsletter. A translation of the screenshot tells us this:

One of our most successful events from last year, Adventure Week, is coming back this month! Get ready for exciting new bonuses and special activities to get into a true adventure mood! Furthermore, don't forget to read our monthly newsletter to know more about our programmed events in advance! You'll never know what's coming...

Yes, Adventure Week is returning sometime this month. If you don't remember, Adventure Week 2017 featured an increase in Rock-type spawn rates, 25% Buddy distance, discounted Poké Ball prices, and increased drop-rates of PokéStop Items. It also introduced a new hat for your avatar.

We expect the event to work similarly this year. We'll refrain from speculating on the specifics, but the event will likely happen during or around May's Community Day.
