As Pokémon GO continues to grow with the addition of Team Rocket and Shadow Pokémon, a different mobile game is not so healthy. Pokémon Duel, a mobile game that launched several months after GO, has announced it is shutting down. Here's the latest:

The Duel is About to End

The final match is in sight for Pokémon Duel. The digital figure-battling game is ending service at the end of October, The Pokémon Company has announced, meaning the game will soon be unplayable. The news came alongside the game's final update, which brought new Pokémon figures and Z-Moves.

Team GO Rocket Event

Meanwhile, in the world of Pokémon GO, Team Rocket has moved beyond the invasion of PokéStops. As part of a new event, Team Rocket-themed Pokémon are spawning and hatching at increased rates, as well as appearing in Raids. These Pokémon are:

• Rattata
• Ekans
• Sandshrew
• Zubat
• Meowth
• Machop
• Magnemite
• Grimer
• Gastly
• Drowzee
• Cubone
• Koffing
• Murkrow
• Sneasel
• Houndour
• ​Poochyena

With this, several Pokémon have had their Shiny forms released alongside this event. They are: Ekans, Koffing, Sneasel, and Zubat.
