Togekiss is the evolved form of Togetic. As with other second to third stage evolutions, we expect it to cost 100 Togepi Candy. The evolution costs a Shiny Stone in the main-series games, which we wouldn't be surprised if Niantic added.

PLACE IN THE META:
Gardevoir is currently the best Fairy-type attacker in the game, but Togekiss will be a threat to its title. If Niantic adds a Fairy-type Fast Attack, Togekiss could become the best Fairy-type attacker. Togekiss also has potential to be a great Fighting-type counter, due to its double resistance to that type.

Togekiss is a Fairy- and Flying-type. This makes it weak to Poison-, Ice-, Electric-, Rock-, and Steel-type attacks; "immune" to Dragon- and Ground-type attacks; highly-resistant to Fighting- and Bug-type attacks; as well as resistant to Grass- and Dark-type attacks.

LIKELY MOVEPOOL: Out of the Fast Moves we currently have in Pokémon GO, the following are the ones that seem most likely to be given to Togekiss:
  • Air Slash
  • Steel Wing

Out of the Charged Moves we currently have in Pokémon GO, the following are the ones that seem most likely to be given to Togekiss:
  • Dazzling Gleam
  • Psychic
  • Sky Attack

Should Niantic add any new moves, the following are good candidates for Togekiss' movepool:
  • Aura Sphere
  • Giga Impact

LOOKING AHEAD: Looking beyond Generation 4, Togekiss gains no evolution, exclusive Z-Move, or Mega Evolution.
Thanks for reading, Trainers!
