When a new Pokémon Sword and Shield trailer was promised to come today, many fans became excited. While no one seems to have predicted its contents correctly, it certainly did not disappoint. Here's a rundown.
NEW POKEMON
Let's start off with the new Pokémon revealed in this trailer, which includes Galarian regional variants!
GALARIAN WEEZING: Galarian Weezing is a pretty dramatic change from the typical Kantonian variant we've grown accustomed to. It has grown giant smokestacks on its heads that resemble top hats. Its toxic gas is now green in color and swirls around its mouths and eyes like facial hair.
Galarian Weezing remains Poison-type, but surprisingly gains the Fairy-type. This Pokémon has the Levitate Ability. It can also have an alternate Ability, but that is remaining under wraps for now. It is also unknown if Koffing will have a Galarian form.
GALARIAN ZIGZAGOON: The Galarian Zigzagoon family is the most exciting part of the trailer. Not only does it confirm that regional variants will not be given to only Kanto Pokémon this time around, but it also introduces regional evolutions (more on that later).
Galarian Zigzagoon turns black and white, and is given more of a punk theme. Like Alolan Rattata, it is a Dark- and Normal-type. It has the Pickup and Gluttony Abilities.
GALARIAN LINOONE: Galarian Linoone continues the punk badger theme. It is also a Dark- and Normal-type with the Pickup and Gluttony Abilities.
OBSTAGOON: Obstagoon is a regional evolution. Not only did the different environments of the Galar region cause Zigzagoon and Linoone to adapt and change form, it also made Linoone gain a new evolution. It will certainly be interesting to see if any other Pokémon gain regional evolutions.
Obstagoon is the evolved form of Galarian Linoone, and is a Dark- and Normal-type like its pre-evolutions. It has the Guts and Reckless Abilities. It has a move known as Obstruct, but what the move's effects are doesn't seem to have been revealed.
MORPEKO: Morpeko appears to be the Pikachu clone of this generation. Morpeko is Electric-type and Dark-type. It has a signature move called Aura Wheel. When Morpeko is in its Full Belly Mode, this move will be Electric-type. But, when its Hunger Switch Ability switches it into its Hangry Mode, Aura Wheel will be a Dark-type attack.

RIVALS, TEAM YELL
Moving on, we come to the new characters we were introduced to in the trailer. They are the previously-leaked rivals Bede and Marnie, as well as the antagonistic gang Team Yell.
BEDE: Bede is a new rival of your's. He appears very smug, and aims to become the Champion. But "he seems to have other objectives as well...", his description says. He received his endorsement from Chairman Rose.
MARNIE: Marnie is another one of your rivals. She has a partner Morpeko, and aims to become Champion also. She wants to do this "in order to accomplish a certain goal."
TEAM YELL: Team Yell seem to be the Team Skull of these titles. They do not appear to be a world-ending organization on the level of Team Galactic or Team Plasma, but rather a local punk group causing trouble. They are passionate fans of Marnie, and are aiming to stop her rivals from being obstacles to her rise to Champion. The Grunts are seen using Galarian Zigzagoon.

POKE JOBS
Finally, we have something that was shown in the Japanese trailer, but not the English trailer. But we do have information on the feature thanks to The Pokémon Company's website. The feature is called Poké Jobs, accessible from the Rotomi.
Rotomi are the PCs found in Pokémon Centers, possessed by Rotom. Unfortunately, it does not seem the Bag-based Pokémon Boxes from Let's Go! are returning, but the Rotomi does have other features. First is the Loto-ID, which goes un-described on the Sword & Shield website, but it seems reasonable to think that this is the Roto Loto feature from Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon making a return.
The Rotomi also gives us access to Poké Jobs. You can send some of the Pokémon in your Box away to help with a job. They'll return after so long, with Exp. Points and rare items. Reward vary depending on the amount of time worked and the Pokémon's type.
