PLACE IN THE META: Simisear and Simisage are shaping up to be relatively unremarkable, and their aquatic brother doesn't seem to be any different. Sure, it's possible that it could be useful in Great League, but Simipour will probably collect dust in your inventory outside of that.

LIKELY MOVEPOOL: Out of the Fast Moves we currently have in Pokémon GO, the following are the ones that seem most likely to be given to Simipour:
  • Iron Tail
  • Waterfall

Out of the Charged Moves we currently have in Pokémon GO, the following are the ones that seem most likely to be given to Simipour:
  • Brick Break
  • Ice Beam
  • Surf

Should Niantic add any new moves, the following are good candidates for Simipour's movepool:
  • Water Pledge

LOOKING AHEAD: Looking beyond Generation 5, Simipour gains no evolution, exclusive Z-Move, or Mega Evolution that is known of at this time.
Thanks for reading, Trainers! If you missed our looks into Simisage and Simisear, make sure to take a look. Munna and Musharna will be up next!
