Over the past two days, new details on Pokémon GO events have broke. We'll update you on them all here.
POKÉMON GO SAFARI ZONE: The Safari Zone event throughout Europe has officially ended. The cities that were affected are no longer hosting a multitude of Kangaskhan and Unown.
WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP CELEBRATION: The celebration of the Pokémon World Championships, where Kangaskhan and Unown were spawning in Anaheim, California, over the weekend, has ended.
THE EVENT IN AKRON, OHIO: Niantic has officially recognized the Akron event on their official website's Events page. Remember, this event is NOT Niantic-hosted, only Niantic-sponsored.
TWO MORE NIANTIC-SPONSORED EVENTS: When Niantic added the Akron event to their page, they also added ones in San Jose, California, (on September 17) and one in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, (on October 28). Again, Niantic is only sponsoring these events. This means that it will be more of a big meet-up than a GO Fest / GO Park-like event.
