Welcome back, Trainers! In this installment of Generation Preparation, we'll take a look at the Long Tail Pokémon, Ambipom.

PLACE IN THE META: Normal-types tend to not have much usefulness in Pokémon GO, and that trend will also apply to Ambipom. Its stats, while an improvement over the pre-evolved Aipom's, are just not up to par.
Ambipom is a pure Normal-type. This makes it weak to Fighting-type attacks, as well as "immune" to Ghost-type attacks. All other types of attacks will do neutral damage.
LIKELY MOVEPOOL: Out of the Fast Moves we currently have in Pokémon GO, the following are the ones that seem most likely to be given to Ambipom:

Should Niantic add any new moves, the following are good candidates for Ampipom's movepool:
LOOKING AHEAD: Looking beyond Generation 4, Ambipom gains no evolution, Mega Evolution, or exclusive Z-Move.
