Welcome back, Trainers! Pokémon Black and Pokémon White introduced us to the largest amount of new Pokémon than any Pokémon game that has been released up until this point. Two of these Pokémon are the humanoid fighters Sawk and Throh.
Sawk is a master of karate and Throh a master of judo, but those titles mean nothing in Pokémon GO. So how good will they be? Let's answer that, starting with Throh.

PLACE IN THE META: Throh and its counterpart, Sawk, are the regional counterparts to Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan. Neither of those Pokémon, nor Hitmontop, have really ever found any use in Pokémon GO. And we're not expecting Throh to be any different.
Throh's stats are underwhelming when comparing them to Conkeldurr, Machamp, and other powerful Fighting-types. Additionally, many of the Fighting-type moves it's known for using in the main-series and anime are not even moves in Pokémon GO yet. And looking at the in-GO moves it can learn, it does not have access to the key combo for Fighting-types; Counter and Dynamic Punch. The deck is stacked against this Pokémon, meaning it will probably just collect dust in your inventory.
LIKELY MOVEPOOL: Out of the Fast Moves we currently have in Pokémon GO, the following are the ones that seem most likely to be given to Throh:
Out of the Charged Moves we currently have in Pokémon GO, the following are the ones that seem most likely to be given to Throh:
Should Niantic add any new moves, the following are good candidates for Throh's movepool:
LOOKING AHEAD: Looking beyond Generation 5, Throh gains no evolution, exclusive Z-Move, or Mega Evolution that is known of at this time.
