UNOVA PREVIEW

SANDILE, KROKOROK, KROOKODILE

PLACE IN THE META: Krookodile is one of the new Pokémon we're most excited for. While it likely will not become the best Ground-type or Dark-type attacker, it certainly isn't bad. Its stats are pretty good, its max CP very respectable, and its possible movepool full of strong moves.

LIKELY MOVEPOOL: Out of the Fast Moves we currently have in Pokémon GO, the following are the ones that seem most likely to be given to Krookodile:
  • Bite
  • Dragon Tail
  • Mud-Slap
  • Snarl

Out of the Charged Moves we currently have in Pokémon GO, the following are the ones that seem most likely to be given to Krookodile:
  • Crunch
  • Dig
  • Earthquake
  • Focus Blast
  • Foul Play
  • Outrage
  • Rock Slide

Should Niantic add any new moves, the following are good candidates for Krookodile's movepool:
  • Knock Off
  • Stomping Tantrum

LOOKING AHEAD: Looking beyond Generation 5, Krookodile gains no evolution, exclusive Z-Move, or Mega Evolution that is known of at this time.
Thanks for reading, Trainers!
