PLACE IN THE META: Cacturne has never been a great Pokémon in Pokémon GO, and Maractus won't redeem the cactus Pokémon. While not the worst Grass-type Pokémon ever, it just doesn't have the necessary stats to compete in Raids. Its stats are pretty good for Trainer Battles, but it will need the right moves.
