SIGILYPH
Welcome back, Trainers! Moving on now from Scraggy and Scrafty, we come to Sigilyph. It's time to answer what this very strange-looking Pokémon will be like in Pokémon GO.
  • CATEGORY: Avianoid Pokémon
  • PRONOUNCED: SIH-jih-liff
  • TYPE: Psychic / Flying
  • HEIGHT: 4' 07"
  • WEIGHT: 30.9 lbs.

ATTACK:  204

DEFENSE:  167

STAMINA:  176

MAX  CP:  2550

PLACE IN THE META: Sigilyph is an unusually-designed Pokémon to be sure, but that doesn't mean it will be bad. In fact, we have a feeling this Pokémon will be pretty decent in Trainer Battles. By no means will this thing be a good Raider with those average stats. It won't be able to compete with powerhouses like Mewtwo and Rayquaza.

LIKELY MOVEPOOL: Out of the Fast Moves we currently have in Pokémon GO, the following are the ones that seem most likely to be given to Sigilyph:
  • Air Slash
  • Charge Beam
  • Steel Wing

Out of the Charged Moves we currently have in Pokémon GO, the following are the ones that seem most likely to be given to Sigilyph:
  • Future Sight
  • Shadow Ball
  • Sky Attack
  • Synchronoise

Should Niantic add any new moves, the following are good candidates for Sigilyph's movepool:
  • Fly

LOOKING AHEAD: Looking beyond Generation 5, Sigilyph gains no evolution, exclusive Z-Move, or Mega Evolution that is known of at this time.
Thanks for reading, Trainers! Yamask and Cofagrigus are up next.
