PLACE IN THE META: Jellicent probably won't be very useful in Pokémon GO. Its Attack stat is very low, but its Defense and Stamina aren't too bad. If this Pokémon finds some usage, it will be in Trainer Battles or as a Gym Defender. But, as a Raider, this Pokémon definitely won't be utilized.

LIKELY MOVEPOOL: Out of the Fast Moves we currently have in Pokémon GO, the following are the ones that seem most likely to be given to Jellicent:
  • Bubble
  • Hex

Out of the Charged Moves we currently have in Pokémon GO, the following are the ones that seem most likely to be given to Jellicent:
  • Dark Pulse
  • Ice Beam
  • Psychic
  • Surf
  • Shadow Ball

Should Niantic add any new moves, the following are good candidates for Jellicent's movepool:
  • Water Spout

LOOKING AHEAD: Looking beyond Generation 5, Jellicent gains no evolution, exclusive Z-Move, or Mega Evolution that is known of at this time.
Thanks for reading, Trainers! Alomomola is up next.
