PLACE IN THE META: In the main-series games, Eelektross is a great Electric-type Pokémon because of its Levitate Ability. Levitate gives Pokémon an immunity to Ground-type attacks, which are obviously the Electric-type's only weakness. Obviously, that advantage will not carry over to Pokémon GO since this game does not have Abilities.
And without Levitate, Eelektross will struggle to stand out. While its stats do not make it bad, it won't be able to compete with our current best Electric-types, Electivire and Raikou, nor the new Electric-type powerhouses, Zekrom and Thundurus.
LIKELY MOVEPOOL: Out of the Fast Moves we currently have in Pokémon GO, the following are the ones that seem most likely to be given to Eelektross:
Out of the Charged Moves we currently have in Pokémon GO, the following are the ones that seem most likely to be given to Eelektross:
Should Niantic add any new moves, the following are good candidates for Eelektross' movepool:
LOOKING AHEAD: Looking beyond Generation 5, Eelektross gains no evolution, exclusive Z-Move, or Mega Evolution that is known of at this time.
