PLACE IN THE META: Haxorus is shaping up to be one of the better Dragon-type Pokémon in GO. Its phenomenal Attack stat is higher than Dragonite, Garchomp, and Salamence's and equal to Rayquaza's. As a caveat, it does have lower defenses than the other top Dragon-types. With that said, Haxorus doesn't need as much defenses since it doesn't have a four-times weakness to Ice like the aforementioned Dragons.

LIKELY MOVEPOOL: Out of the Fast Moves we currently have in Pokémon GO, the following are the ones that seem most likely to be given to Haxorus:
  • Dragon Tail
  • Poison Jab

Out of the Charged Moves we currently have in Pokémon GO, the following are the ones that seem most likely to be given to Haxorus:
  • Brick Break
  • Draco Meteor
  • Dragon Claw
  • Dragon Pulse
  • Outrage

Should Niantic add any new moves, the following are good candidates for Haxorus' movepool:
  • Dual Chop
  • Giga Impact
  • Guillotine
  • Superpower

LOOKING AHEAD: Looking beyond Generation 5, Haxorus gains no evolution, exclusive Z-Move, or Mega Evolution that is known of at this time.
Thanks for reading, Trainers! The Beartic line is up next.
