PLACE IN THE META: Mienshao would be a good glass cannon Fighting-type if not for its movepool. The most glaring issue is it cannot learn Counter and Dynamic Punch, the best Fighting moveset. And it really doesn't learn many other Fighting-type moves, meaning this Pokémon will most likely not be very useful. The only glimmer of hope this Pokémon has is if Niantic adds some more Fighting-types moves that Mienshao will be able to learn and makes them good.

LOOKING AHEAD: Looking beyond Generation 5, Mienshao gains no evolution, exclusive Z-Move, or Mega Evolution that is known of at this time.
