The Raid system is certainly glitch-filled, and Niantic needs to improve this. However, today they did the worst possible adjustment to Raids: they reactivated the Raid Eggs. Those Eggs were the WORST part of Raid Battles when they launched, in our opinion. Some people like it, and some don't. Let's discuss...
THE POSITIVES: Raid Eggs do allow for more coordination between people, especially in more rural areas. (And that's it).
THE NEGATIVES: The two-hour timer on the Eggs are incredibly annoying. Walking past a high-level Raid where you know you cannot come back for and don't know the exact Raid Boss is awful. It's so much more fun just walking up to a fresh Raid without having to wait for the Boss, but for people.
IMPROVEMENTS: As we said before, there is a positive to the Eggs. The downside is the TWO HOUR timer. Please, for the love of Arceus, if anyone at Niantic is reading this, decrease the time to 15 or 30 minutes! This would only be for regular Raids, of course. The 48 hour timer for EX Raids is totally fine.
