PLACE IN THE META: Virizion is not going to be useful in Pokémon GO. It has a problem with Fighting-type moves, as we outlined in our Cobalion Preview earlier. It also has a problem in the Grass-type department, since it cannot learn a Grass-type Fast Attack outside of a fortunate Grass-type Hidden Power. Those, combined with Virizion's poor stats and major weakness to Flying, has sealed this Pokémon's fate.
