Mamoswine is the evolved form of Piloswine. Should it follow the standard, it will take 100 Candy to evolve a Piloswine.

PLACE IN THE META:
Mamoswine has long been forecasted to be the best Ice-type attacker in the game if it gets the needed moves. It also could be a good Ground-type attacker, but unfortunately it doesn't have a Ground-type Fast Attack in its level-up or TM movepool from the main-series.

Mamoswine is a Ground and Ice-type. This makes it weak to Grass-, Water-, Steel-, Fire-, and Fighting-type attacks; "immune" to Electric-type attacks; as well as resistant to Poison-type attacks.

LIKELY MOVEPOOL: Out of the Fast Moves we currently have in Pokémon GO, the following are the ones that seem most likely to be given to Mamoswine:
  • Powder Snow
  • Take Down

Out of the Charged Moves we currently have in Pokémon GO, the following are the ones that seem most likely to be given to Mamoswine:
  • Ancient Power
  • Blizzard
  • Earthquake
  • Stone Edge

Should Niantic add any new moves, the following are good candidates for Mamoswine's movepool:
  • Giga Impact

LOOKING AHEAD: Looking beyond Generation 4, Mamoswine gains no evolution, Mega Evolution, or exclusive Z-Move.
Thanks for reading, Trainers!
