Finally we have some news to report! John Hanke did an interview in Taiwan talking about player-versus-player battles and Generation 3. On top of that, Niantic announced an AR Photo Contest last night. Lets dive in!
AR PHOTO CONTEST: A contest on Instagram is taking place for Pokémon GO. Trainers not related to Niantic or the Pokémon Company (International) can upload three images of Pokémon in AR to Instagram with the hashtag #PokémonGOContest. The image cannot contain identifiable people. The contest will last until October 25, 2017. Award-winners will receive a GO Plus, Bluetooth earbuds, and a signed poster.
To participate in the contest, you must be a citizen of a country were the game has been officially released (as of October 11, 2017). The following countries are excluded: The Balkans, Belarus, Brazil, Burma, China, Cote D'Ivoire (Ivory Coast), Crimea, Cuba, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Iran, Iraq, Italy, Liberia, North Korea, Pakistan, Quebec, Russia, Spain, Sudan, Syria, Turkey, and Zimbabwe. The game may be in a slow spout right now, but more content is coming soon! Time to get excited, Trainers!
