Niantic worked late last night! They updated the GAME_MASTER file again overnight!
ENCOUNTER CALCULATIONS: All of the different values for encountering a wild Pokémon have been added. This included model size, placement, jump height, and throw circle size.
IMPORTANT PLACEHOLDERS: Placeholders for every Pokémon's moveset (Tackle / Struggle) and buddy distance (5 KM) have been put into the GAME_MASTER file.
EVOLUTION VALUES: The Candy costs to evolve each Pokémon are now in the master file. Most of them are the standard values. 25 Candy to evolve to a first-of-three-stage or baby Pokémon, 100 Candy to evolve a second-stage Pokémon to a third-stage, and 50 Candy to evolve a first-stage Pokémon to its final, second stage.
There are four exceptions to the standards. Split evolutionary lines cost 50 (not 25) Candy to evolve. Evolving a Whismur and Wurmple will cost 12 (not 25) Candy. Evolving a Feebas requires 100 (not 50 or 400) Candy.
We are even closer to the release of Generation 3, Trainers! All Niantc has to do is update those placeholders with the correct values! Of course, we still want new moves, Abilities, and new Items, but that could still come with another client-side or server-side update! We have a feeling we may get some sort of announcement today, Trainers!
