Some news was made in the Pokémon GO world yesterday, and some news came out about the Poké Ball Plus over the weekend. Here's what you need to know.
NEW SHINY POKEMON
As a tie-in to the launch of the launch of Niantic's Ingress Prime game, there are new avatar clothing items available in the Style Shop. And, more importantly, there are new Shiny Pokémon for you to catch. Cubone and Ponyta can now be Shiny out in the wild, and Alolan Marowak can be Shiny after beating it in a Raid Battle.
COMMUNITY DAY
Gengar Day was this past weekend, and the fun continues on this upcoming Saturday with November's Pokémon GO Community Day. Niantic have announced that during the Community Day window, as well as one hour after, any Quilava evolved to Typhlosion will know the exclusive move Blast Burn.
SINNOH SPRITES
When Generation 4 first launched, a majority of the Sinnoh 'Dex had their assets already in place, but there were many gaps that needed to be filled. Chrales found that seven of the gap Pokémon had their sprites added. Those Pokémon are listed below:
- Buizel
- Croagunk (♀)
- Dusknoir
- Lumineon
- Mantyke
- Mismagius
- Snover
POKE BALL PLUS
Lastly, we have some news about the Poké Ball Plus accessory. If you don't remember, the Poké Ball Plus launches alongside Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let's Go, Eevee! later this month and acts as, essentially, a hybrid Pokémon GO Plus, Nintendo Switch Joy-Con, and Pokéwalker.
Serebii found some hidden information on an official Japanese website for Nintendo. The information states that the Poké Ball Plus will act just like a GO Plus when "empty," but will spin PokéStops automatically when containing a Pokémon.
