RESEARCH BREAKTHROUGH
Although it was much later than usual, the next Research Breakthrough has been announced. Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Entei, Raikou, and Suicune are back for the month. Much like this weekend's Community Day, research Breakthroughs will be a celebratory recap of the year, so to speak.
RAID SHIFTS
Since the 26th, Raids have been changing daily. We don't know if this is event ending and indecision from Niantic or some new policy of daily Raid changes. At the time of writing this article, Raids have changed four times this week.
SINNOH STONE
The Sinnoh Stone mysteriously disappeared from Research Breakthroughs recently. After further research and reports, the Sinnoh Stone is still available in Breakthroughs. Research shows that you now have about a 20% chance of getting the Stone, rather than the previous 100%.
Niantic Support commented on this situation yesterday evening, and they did nothing to clear it up. This is their statement:

Trainers, the Sinnoh Stone has joined other evolution items as a potential reward for Research Breakthroughs. There will be more ways to get the Sinnoh Stone in the future, stay tuned to our official channels for updates.
If you are confused by this statement, you are not alone. Since this tweet was posted, there have been no reports of Trainers earning a Sun Stone, Metal Coat, Up-Grade, Dragon Scale, or King's Rock from their Breakthrough; Nor have there been any reports of Trainers earning a Sinnoh Stone as their guaranteed Evolution Item from their 7-Day PokéStop Streak, assuming "Research Breakthrough" was a typo.
EX RAIDS
Shortly after another wave of EX Raid Passes was distributed, EX Raid Gym tags returned to the sponsored and park-based Gyms that should have had them when the tags were introduced.
MISTY & BROCK
New avatar attire is available in the Style Shop based off the looks of Gym Leaders Misty and Brock from Pokémon: Let's Go Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let's Go, Eevee!. These new clothes must be purchased, and are only available for the gender of avatar corresponding to the gender of the Gym Leader you wish to dress like.
Thanks for reading, Trainers!
