Until August 19 at 9:00 PM PDT, a special trading event is ongoing in Pokémon GO. Stardust costs to trade are discounted by 25%, Candy rewards from trading are increased, and XP for registering a new Pokémon to your Pokédex is tripled.

2. SPINDA & SHINY POKEMON
After much delay, Spinda is now available in Pokémon GO via the "Make 3 Curveballs in a Row" research task. Additionally, the Shiny variants of Snubbull, Houndour, and their evolutions are also available.

5. EVENT RESCHEDULING
After some issues involving Articuno and Zapdos Days in the Azores, the two Legendary Birds have returned to the archipelago until August 10 at 4:00 PM AZOST.
Meanwhile, in Japan, yesterday was the rescheduled Articuno Day. The original event was rescheduled to due after-effects of a typhoon, which lead the Articuno at the event yesterday to know the exclusive move Hurricane. The event, which coincided with the rescheduled Squirtle Community Day, lasted for six hours. The upcoming Eevee Community Day has also had its timeframe shifted due to weather.

6. RELEASE REFINED
The Pokémon title due to release on the Nintendo Switch in 2019 has had its release time refined. When revealed, it was said to release in "the second half of 2019." A new Nintendo financial release clarifies that to be "late 2019."
