1.   #TeamRayquaza  Wins!

#TeamRayquaza has won the Legendary Week challenge! This means that Dragon-, Psychic-, and Flying-type Pokémon are hatching at increased rates from Eggs. A variety of new Raid Bosses are also in effect.

ENDING SOON: The ongoing sale will end later today at 1:00 P.M. PT. Rayquaza, the double XP, and windy-themed Eggs will end at 4:00 P.M. ET on Friday, March 16. For our international readers, please keep in mind that America is now in Daylight Savings Time.

2.   EX  Raids  Galore

Two waves of EX Raid passes went out this week. The first was for March 10, the same day as the previous wave. The second was for March 17.

TIME GLITCHES: EX Raids are experiencing a bunch of time-related glitches. Daylight Savings Time is throwing the time off in America, and v0.93.3 is using UTC instead of your local timezone.

3.   A  New  Queen's  Cup  Brings  Shiny  Rayquaza

A new Queen's Cup is ongoing in Pokémon Duel. One of the high-tier rewards is a Shiny Rayquaza figurine. The event will end on March 13.

4.   The  Alolan  Starters  Gain  Their  Hidden  Abilities

The three Alolan starters now have access to their Hidden Abilities. To get them, you'll need a Pokémon Bank account. They're available for the Generation 7 games until October 31, 2018.

5.   Nintendo  Direct

This week's Nintendo Direct certainly brought the hype for Nintendo fans with their Super Smash Bros announcement. Unfortunately, the only Pokémon news reported on was about Detective Pikachu. No announcement was made about the next core Pokémon game for the Nintendo Switch.

6.   Weekend  trivia

This Pokémon stores its nutrients in its tail. It's able to shoot itself more than 55 times its height. Who's that Pokémon: Cherubi, Azurill, Yveltal, or Popplio?
