3. A New Queen's Cup Brings Shiny Rayquaza
A new Queen's Cup is ongoing in Pokémon Duel. One of the high-tier rewards is a Shiny Rayquaza figurine. The event will end on March 13.

4. The Alolan Starters Gain Their Hidden Abilities
The three Alolan starters now have access to their Hidden Abilities. To get them, you'll need a Pokémon Bank account. They're available for the Generation 7 games until October 31, 2018.

This week's Nintendo Direct certainly brought the hype for Nintendo fans with their Super Smash Bros announcement. Unfortunately, the only Pokémon news reported on was about Detective Pikachu. No announcement was made about the next core Pokémon game for the Nintendo Switch.
