1. Pokemon Let's GO! Pikachu & Eevee
The community exploded this week over a credible-sounding rumor about the upcoming, main-series Pokémon game for the Nintendo Switch. However credible it may appear to be, it is still unverified by official outlets. To read more into this rumor, check out the Articles of the Week section in File 9.
2. Ho-Oh's Surprise return
Late Friday night, Niantic dropped a surprise on us. They announced that Ho-Oh has returned to Raid Battles, and explicitly mentioned its Shiny variant's addition as well. Community reports indicate that, as with Shiny Lugia, Shiny Ho-Oh has a 100% catch rate. Ho-Oh will be around until June 7.

3. Community Day
Yesterday was the fifth-ever Community Day. The May 2018 event featured the Fire-type Pokémon Charmander. Any Charmeleon evolved during the event window learned the special move Blast Burn as a Charizard. The event also featured triple Stardust for catching Pokémon, three-hour Lures, and the introduction of the Shiny Charmander family.

4. Why are you here, Lugia?
After the Battle Showdown event ended on Monday, Niantic made a mistake when switching the Raid Bosses back. They made the Lugia set of Bosses spawn instead of the Eon Duo set. They quickly corrected this error, and Raids returned to normal.

5. Bags get bigger
Your in-game Bag can now be a bit bigger. Niantic announced on Twitter early this week that the new maximum amount of items you can store in your Bag is 2000. You do have to pay for such an upgrade.

6. A new Queen's cup
A new Queen's Cup is ongoing in Pokémon Duel. It runs until May 22, and gives players the opportunity to get their hands on a Shiny Rayquaza figurine if they earn enough points.

7. PNN Update
We want to give you an update on future articles. The Generation 4 Preview series has taken the week off, but it will return soon with our Darkrai analysis. Additionally, we'll be publishing Raid Guides for old Legendary Pokémon over the upcoming months in the case of a surprise return (as we saw with Ho-Oh) or a return at Pokémon GO Fest 2018.

This Psychic-type Pokémon is able to predict the future by looking at the stars. Who's that Pokémon: Gothitelle, Espeon, Gardevoir, or Reuniclus? Voters were in favor of Gardevoir, but the correct answer is Gothitelle.
