Yesterday was Gengar Day, where Gengar appeared in special Raid Battles for three hours. Gengar was able to be Shiny, and it knew the exclusive moves of Lick and Psychic. Shiny Gastly, while not frequently reported, has been confirmed to be out in the wild by Niantic Support.

2. ADVENTURE SYNC
Adventure Sync, the new Pokémon GO feature that was announced last week, has gone live. It is currently available to Trainers that are Level 30 or higher, but the minimum level will continue to be lowered to Level 5 as time goes on.

3. RESEARCH SHAKE-UP
Pokémon GO's monthly research shake-up occurred this week. Shedinja replaced Suicune as the Research Breakthrough, and Field Research now centers around Bug-type Pokémon. Nincada, Shedinja's pre-evolution, is available in this Bug-type Field Research and can evolve into Ninjask only.

4. SAFARI ZONE
A Pokémon GO Safari Zone is ongoing in Taiwan. This has brought the release of Shiny Pinsir worldwide. Attendees of the event have many opportunities, such as the ability to catch Relicanth.

5. POKESTOP NOMINATIONS
The PokéStop nomination feature's beta expanded to Level 40 Trainers in Thailand this week. It is also available to Level 40 Trainers in South Korea, Mexico, and Brazil.

6. POKEMON: LET'S GO
The Pokémon Company released a small trailer on Halloween that showed off Lavender Town in Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let's Go, Eevee!. LGPE was also featured in a Nintendo Treehouse presentation later in the week.
