Welcome back, Trainers! In this installment of Generation Preparation, we'll take a look at Shinx, Luxio, and Luxray.
SHINX
ATTACK: 117 |
DEFENSE: 64 |
STAMINA: 90 |
MAX CP: 750 |
We predict Shinx will be a fairly common Electric-type, similarly to Electrike. Should it end up in Eggs, we expect it to be put into the 2KM Eggpool. We expect Shinx, Luxio, and Luxray will take 1KM to find a Candy when being walked as a Buddy.
LUXIO
ATTACK: 159 |
DEFENSE: 95 |
STAMINA: 120 |
MAX CP: 1324 |
Luxio's family is known for its incredible eyesight, which allows them to see through walls. Their muscles generate electricity, which is then released through their claws. If in danger, their fur will dazzle to blind their enemy.
LUXRAY
ATTACK: 232 |
DEFENSE: 156 |
STAMINA: 160 |
MAX CP: 2668 |
PLACE IN THE META: Similarly to Staraptor, a predictably-common Pokémon has a great Attack stat. If given access to Wild Charge, Luxray could be at least a decent Electric-type attacker. It won't outclass Raikou, Electivire, or Magnezone, but it has potential to be viable.
Luxray is an Electric-type. This makes it weak to Ground-type attacks, as well as resistant to Steel-, Electric-, and Flying-type attacks.
LIKELY MOVEPOOL: Out of the Fast Moves we currently have in Pokémon GO, the following are the ones that seem most likely to be given to Luxray:
Out of the Charged Moves we currently have in Pokémon GO, the following are the ones that seem most likely to be given to Luxray:
Should Niantic add any new moves, the following are good candidates for Luxray's movepool:
LOOKING AHEAD: Looking beyond Generation 4, Luxray gains no evolution, exclusive Z-Move, or Mega Evolution.
