Buizel is expected to be a common Water-type. Should it be found in Eggs, we would expect it to fall into the 2KM or 5KM Eggpool. We would also expect Buizel and Floatzel to take 3KM to find a Candy when being walked as a Buddy.

PLACE IN THE META: Floatzel won't be very useful in Pokémon GO, unfortunately. While its stats aren't awful, they just aren't high enough to compete with Gyarados, Vaporeon, and Kyogre. If it gets a good movepool and Buizel is fairly common, it could be a decent Water-type attacker for low-level Trainers that haven't acquired Kyogre or reached the 400 Candy mark to evolve a Magikarp into Gyarados, but that will be about it.
Floatzel is a Water-type. This makes it weak to Grass- and Electric-type attacks, as well as resistant to Ice-, Steel-, Water-, and Fire-type attacks.
