We expect Skorupi to be a common Pokémon is desert biomes, similarly to Cacnea and Snubbull. We also expect Skprupi to be found in 5KM Eggs, as well as take 3KM to find a Candy as a Buddy.

• CATEGORY: Ogre Scorpion Pokémon
• PRONOUNCED: DRAP-ee-on
• TYPE: Poison / Dark
• HEIGHT: 4' 03"

PLACE IN THE META: We feel like we're getting redundant, but Drapion is to going to be useful in Pokémon GO. Even though it has a great typing, its stats are only average. It just cannot keep up with Tyranitar, (Alolan) Muk, Gyarados, etc.

Drapion is a Dark- and Poison-type. This makes it weak to Ground-type attacks, as well as resistant to Poison-, Grass-, Dark-, and Ghost-type attacks.

​LIKELY MOVEPOOL: Out of the Fast Moves we currently have in Pokémon GO, the following are the ones that seem most likely to be given to Drapion:

• Bite
• Infestation
• Poison Sting

Out of the Charged Moves we currently have in Pokémon GO, the following are the ones that seem most likely to be given to Drapion:

• Cross Poison
• Crunch
• ​Earthquake
• Night Slash
• X-Scissor

Should Niantic add any new moves, the following are good candidates for Drapion's movepool:

• Knock Off
• ​Pin Missile
• Pursuit

LOOKING AHEAD: Looking beyond Generation 4, Drapion gains no evolution, exclusive Z-Move, or Mega Evolution.
